A little Q&A about me!
Q: What made you decide to become a Stampin’ Up demonstrator? A: My mother-in-law has been a Stampin’ Up demonstrator for a number of years, mainly because she was purchasing enough on her own to make it worth it. For the last few Christmases she’s given me Stampin’ Up stamps and ink pads as she knows I also love stamps and making cards. There are so many cool items in the Stampin’ Up catalogue that I’d love to play with, and when Sale-A-Bration came around this year I realized it was the perfect time to sign up and save on products I wanted to buy anyway (and also get some of the awesome Sale-A-Bration stamp sets!).
Q: What do you intend to do as a Stampin’ Up demonstrator? A: Originally I simply planned to buy products for myself and call it good. However my mother-in-law and I were talking about one of the all-inclusive kits in the catalogue, and realized it would be a lot of fun to have a party and make cards with some of our friends. There are so many cool things to make and try, and we’d like to share the fun! So we decided to try holding a few “classes”, based around the all-inclusive kits from Stampin’ Up. We’re calling them “Wine and Stamps”, with the idea that they could be a fun, creative night out for people, much like a paint night.
Q: Is this your day job? A: No. I am a chemist by profession and education, and have a full-time job doing that. However, I have loved crafting since I was a child making things with my grandmother, and enjoy making personalized cards for my friends and family – particularly for birthdays and holidays. So since card-making is one of my favorite hobbies, I expect to have a lot of fun with this.
That’s it for tonight! If you have any questions for me please leave a comment below.
